In 2005, The Timothy Hill Heritage Society was formed to recognize and honor those who include The Ranch in their financial and estate planning. The Heritage Society is open to anyone who has made specific plans to provide for the Ranch by one or more of the following means: a specific provision by will creation of a charitable trust purchase of a charitable gift annuity a life insurance policy a gift of residence or land designating Timothy Hill Ranch as the beneficiary of a retirement plan or IRA The Associated Press reports that most Americans (70%) pass away without a will. Sadly, those individuals have relinquished their personal desires and intent to the state in which they reside. The state will disburse their assets, determine guardianship of any minor children, and pay their taxes with no concern for savings. The reasons for failing to plan are many: My estate is too small.
